Mother's Day Cards

Hello! What a beautiful weekend! We made this card at my April card class, just in time for Mother's Day.

I loved the colors that Marisa Gunn used on her card and so I used the same. It's a great color combo. This stamp set and matching framelits are a lot of fun to use. I have lots of ideas, just need more time.

Jar of Love

Wowzers! Today is a windy day. All the surrounding cities are without power, but mine. The lights did flicker but didn't go out. We rarely loose electricity in my town. I have a card class tomorrow so I have lots of card prep to do today. Good thing I don't need electricity to do it.

I love the Jar of Love stamp set. I'm using it at tomorrows class for a Mother's Day card. We made this card at my February card-making class. One of the ladies stamped her bow in daffodil delight because she said bows should never be black. I never thought of that, but I sort of agree with her so I made more of these cards with daffodil delight or tempting turquoise bows. I like how they turned out better, but used them before I got a picture.

My monthly card-making class is tomorrow so I better get going on the card prep.

Rain, Rain Go Away

Goodness, this rain is so depressing. It just keeps raining. We might get one nice day and then BAM, it's raining again. I can't wait for summer. Or spring. Maybe seeing some flowers will make it not seem so dreary.

This card is one we made at my month card-making class. We were not writing thank yous to Mother Nature when we made this card. Although, we are thankful for the rain, the abundance is a bit much.

This stamp set is one that you could get free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. I love the Thank You in big cursive letters.

Bronze Embossing!

*I wrote this post a while back and forgot to publish it*

I love everything about the Affectionately Yours Suite! The DSP is so pretty. There are 2 sheets in this pack that have copper in it and it's so beautiful. There are 2 embossing folders and washi tape that match this suite. I bought the copper thread and copper embossing powder to go along. I have so many ideas for this set...all I need is more time.

We made this card at one of my monthly classes. I let the ladies pick their coordinating colors and sentiment. They all turned out very nice.
